Hi! My name is Lorraine Vasquez! I teach 2nd grade and I started blog stalking sometime at the end of 2010 which led me to start this blog in July of 2011.  My blog has gone through a few changes.  I started out as Fabulous 4th Grade Froggies,  moved to Fabulous 3rd grade Froggies, and currently Teach Laugh Plan!   I plan to share my love of teaching, obsession with planners, and fun I have with my family.

Besides being a mom, being an educator is a dream come true. I really have a passion for teaching and sharing my love of learning with others. I've been at the same school since it opened 17 years ago.  I am blessed to be working for a great school district and a great school. My classroom is full of frogs! The frogs remind me and my students to leap into learning with excitement and enthusiasm.

I love everything Disney!  I also love & collect sugar skulls, crosses, and of course frogs.  I am big coffee drinker, reality tv junkie, and I love to cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers.   I am planner obsessed and love to decorate my planners with stickers, washi tape, doodles and more.

I have been married to my wonderful husband Greg for 31 years.  We have two incredible children who are both adults. My daughter is a 6th grade teacher and my son is a safety specialist at Sea World and attending grad school in sunny Florida (he lives less than 10 minutes from Disney).  They both make us so proud!

  1. Hi Lorraine, I found your blog because someone "pinned" it on Pinterest. I'm also a teacher and I too, love frogs! In fact I love them so much, I have a website devoted to them. Polly the Travel Frog can be used as a class project (similar to Flat Stanley), or your students can come on just to read the posts and leave comments. Please visit us if you get the chance!

  8. Mrs. Vazquez,

My sister also shares an obsession with frogs. She teaches 5th grade. Frogs have been her theme for the past 10 years of her teaching career. It's good to know she's not the only one!

    God Bless,

    Sandra Delgado :)

  9. Hi Lorraine. I found your blog through the July Currently. :) I just retired from teaching fourth grade (mostly) after 34 years and am now making teaching items on TpT full time. Love it! I have some frog themed items like a grade book planner and desk name plates that you might like if you want to hop on over and check them out. :) Hoppy 4th of July! Sorry but I couldn't resist!

  10. Hi! I was wondering if you could help me with the Currently idea. I have even bought a pack and they are jpgs that I can print but I am wondering if I could type on them. I feel that I am missing a step. Any help would be appreciated.
