Holy Guacamole Batman! I found the perfect pencil sharpener!

Yup, you heard me right.  I really did say I found the PERFECT pencil sharpener!  Straight from www.classroomfriendlysupplies.com.   I was very skeptical when I received it. I opened the box and knew it wouldn't work just like the bazillion others sharpeners I have purchase the last couple of years. It doesn't look like an expensive electric pencil sharpener. Heck, it kinda looks "old fashioned" or retro.  To be honest, I wasn't impressed that is until I started sharpening pencils!  Holy Guacamole! This NOT electric pencil sharpener is da bomb!  I sharpened the cheapest, piece of junk, generic pencils I had........ to perfection!  So how much does it cost, you ask?  ONLY $19.95 with FREE SHIPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (no, I don't get a commission for telling you to buy these pencil sharpeners but its way too fabulous not to share!)  You can't go wrong getting this!  And for those of you with your own kids in school you should buy one for your child's teacher for a holiday gift.   Make sure to visit Classroom Friendly Supplies at the link above and make your pencil sharpening nightmare go away!

  1. This looks great, but will it stand the test of time?? I would love to hear in a couple of months how it is doing. If it still works, then it has to be the real deal! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I found these sharpeners about 5 years ago. I was teaching fourth grade at the time and they worked great. I even bought another one when I was moved to fifth so the kids could sharpener on either side of the room.

Now I'm in second, I find the kids are not coordinated enough to use this sharpener. Even with extensive modeling and training, they still have trouble and get frustrated. All I hear is help! I can't do it!

    Just my humble opinion,

It's a great sharpener for third and up, but the lower grades have trouble.

  3. I love this pencil sharpener! It's much quicker & does a FANTASTIC job! However, I'm the one who sharpens the pencils with it. I don't mind at all. It's much faster and always perfect. If my 2nd graders want to sharpen their pencil, they do it with the other regular one; but then they come and ask me to do it again with mine.

  4. I think it's time to end my long and unfulfilling relationship with electrical pencil sharpeners and get this! Thanks for sharing this, I really appreciate it!!

  5. You may not get commission, but the owner of the site is offering free pencil sharpeners to bloggers who review his product. Just a thought .... you could get yourself a second lovely sharpener for FREE .. and what is better than that? :)

  6. Sorry friends, but I can't agree that these are the best sharpeners out there. My first (and most frusterating) issue is that the sharpeners won't stay screwed down on the numerous tables and shelves we tried to bolt them to. We even had the custodian drill them into a shelf and they STILL came off! My other complaint is that the sharpener would get broken pencil lead caught in the sharpener and wouldn't work until we took the whole thing apart! I'm sure some of you are thinking I received a faulty sharpener, however, we bought 3 for each classroom in our grade lever and they all did the same thing. If you guys know a secret to making these sharpeners work or stay clamped down, I'd love to hear it. Until then, I cannot agree that these are the greatest sharpeners.

  7. I LOVE this sharpener! Like seriously, one of the best ever! Mine broke after a lovely 1.5 years of life. In terms of an elementary school pencil sharpener, that is pretty darn good, considering I've gone through electric ones in a matter of months! Love it.

  10. At first, I was thrilled with this sharpener as well. Unfortunately, it only lasted 2 months. :( In response to the post above...I hot glued mine to a wooden shelf and it stayed.
