Well if you are coming from my friend Farley's blog, Oh Boy 4th Grade blog, you know that she has had some bad luck lately. Poor poor Farley! She is such a positive person and looks for the good in everything but I still feel sorry for her. Send some fabulous frogilicious thoughts her way.
LISTENING: My son just came home from working at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and his allergies are sure acting up. He is sneezing and sniffling like crazy! Even though he is 16 years old, I still hate when he gets sick.

THINKING: I promised myself that I would start walking this summer but its so darn hot! I just have to make myself wake up early and walk before it gets too hot.
WANTING: I feel like having a coffee right now, yup its true! I love coffee! However, if I have a cup this late at night I won't sleep which leads me to my next point...NEEDING!
NEEDING: I am definitely needing to have a normal sleep schedule. I am such a night owl plus have insomnia that I don't sleep! This morning in fact, my hubby got up at 4:45AM to get ready for work and found that I hadn't gone to bed yet. WHAT? That's plain' ol' DUMB! No wonder I am too tired during the day to get anything accomplished!
4TH PLANS: As I told you, my son works at Six Flags Fiesta Texas Amusement Park and they are expecting to be packed! He works from 9:45AM until 10PM? Talk about a long day! My hubby AKA Deputy Dog is a Bexar County Sheriff Deputy and they don't get holidays off... the bad guys don't get holidays either! :) Thankfully he gets off of work by 2:00 - 2:30 and we can BarBQ and watch fireworks from our front yard... We live a few miles from Sea World and can see them from the house!
Happy July my froggy friends!
My summer sleeping schedule is crazy!! I also crave coffee very late at night...ughh!

Hey! Just found your blog through Farley's Currently. I have been trying to walk too, but we have had so much rain here that it's just too yucky out! Who wants to walk with a 3-month old baby in the rain?? I'd rather snuggle with her inside. Hehe. Have a great summer!!

We have the same sleeping schedule. I went to bed at the same time. I guess if you call it that because I was up at 8:00. I'm exhausted but can't go to sleep.
ReplyDeleteWe have so much in common!!
ReplyDeleteMy sleep schedule is SO off this summer. I'm up late and awake early-ish, so I'm not getting enough sleep. But I'm not up early enough to walk here in Arizona - gotta be done by 7am and still find lots of shade! - and that doesn't happen when bedtime is so late!!
Also, we're Jammin' teammates - I just joined this weekend and can't wait to get my kit!!
Oh - and we both teach 4th grade, which is how I found your blog months ago. :-)
DeleteThis is probably the 3rd or 4th blog in a row I have seen about sleep schedules this summer! :) I'm usually a wicked night out in the summer but this year it hasn't really happened (yet). Probably will around August when I need to be on a real schedule to get ready to go back to school.
ReplyDeleteFunny that you just became a Jamberry Consultant. I have been going back and forth about whether or not to give Jamberry a try (as a customer, not a consultant - I already sell Thirty-One and that's enough on top of everything else!). :)
I also have noticed a pattern about sleep schedules. So many teacher/bloggers I know are getting into Jamberry. It looks like fun, but I just can't sell something I never use.
ReplyDeleteHappy July!

Wow! I feel like we are two peas in a pod! Maybe because we're both Texas girls? I have been making myself go walking at 5:00 a.m. every morning because the Texas heat is a killer. I also have been staying up WAY too late and suffer from insomnia. I'm trying to work out and stay active during the day to wear myself out, but so far it isn't working. . . Good luck on your Jamberry sales. I'll be sure to hit your link when I'm ready to order more.
